Our manufacturing facilities are inspected by FDA, USDA and third party auditing agencies including AIB and GMA-SAFE. Our fiber products are kosher certified by the Orthodox Union and Halal under the supervision of the Islamic Food and Nutrition Council.
SunOpta Ingredient's fiber plants in Cambridge, Minnesota and Cedar Rapids, Iowa have achieved BRC certification. The British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standards are a leading global food safety and quality certification program. The BRC Global Standards are widely used by suppliers and global retailers. They facilitate standardization of quality, safety, operational criteria and manufacturers' fulfillment of legal obligations. Certification to a Global Standard, which is achieved through audit by third party Certification Bodies, reassures retailers and manufacturers of the capability and competence of the supplier.
