Our animal feed originates from select soy, corn, sunflower and other grains and undergoes the minimum processing necessary to maintain its whole grain goodness. We consistently produce high quality grains through our traceability programs, which provide a nutritious and healthy feed product.
Our animal feeds are available as soy (roasted, meal, hulls, fiber, and oil), corn (whole, cracked, and hominy), sunflower (hulls, meal, oil, and bird food), rice protein and small grains. With SunOpta animal feed we allow for organic certification by request, total ration formulation and supply and pricing options. Our central location in the Midwest and industrial packaging options allow for optimal packaging and shipping efficiencies.
At SunOpta Ingredients Group we offer a family of quality fiber ingredients. Our Canadian Harvest® Oat Fiber line includes over 12 oat fibers, each designed to perform differently in the end product. Our natural and organic oat fibers can be used in a variety of food products to enhance texture, increase yield, extend shelf-life, improve strength and flexibility and provide fiber enrichment.
Along with our oat fiber we also offer soy fiber, organic soy fiber with protein, organic and conventional pea fiber, stabilized oat, wheat and corn bran and stabilized wheat germ. The soluble fiber, barley beta-glucan and insoluble and soluble fiber blends are also available in our MultiFiber™ line.
At SunOpta Ingredients Group we offer value-added starch-based texturizing agents uniquely suited to improving texture and reducing fat and calories in dairy and non-dairy (soy and rice) products.
Our OptaGrade® and OptaMist® are natural, physically modified starches derived from high amylose corn starch. They deliver multifunctional benefits including stabilization, opacification and fat replacement.
At SunOpta Ingredients Group we have a variety of natural and organic ingredients for skin care products. Our skin care ingredients are perfect for soaps, scrubs, masks, body and face powders and creams. Due to their water and oil absorbing properties, Canadian Harvest® Oat Fibers can be used to control moisture and oil in products such as scrubs. Barley Balance™ provides a concentrated source of beta-glucan, which has been shown to penetrate the skin and smooth wrinkles. Our SunOpta all-natural starch products form gels, which impart a creamy, smooth texture and provide significant opacity reducing or eliminating the need for colour such as titanium dioxide.
