Ingredients Group
This past holiday season, the Ingredients Group donated to Field to Family, a hunger relief initiative that supplies bread, buns and pastries to food pantries or programs in Kansas City and Chicago. The Program is supported by over 30 companies in the grain, milling, baking and ingredient industries.
SunOpta Ingredient's fiber plants in Cambridge, Minnesota and Cedar Rapids, Iowa have achieved British Retail Consortium (BRC) certification. The BRC Global Standards are a leading global food safety and quality certification program. The BRC Global Standards are widely used by suppliers and global retailers. They facilitate standardization of quality, safety, operational criteria and manufacturers' fulfillment of legal obligations. Certification to a Global Standard, which is achieved through audit by third party certification bodies, reassures retailers and manufacturers of the capability and competence of the supplier.
