Provided by Eftsure, this real-time, continuous controls monitoring system ensures that supplier details are independently verified before being entered, to help protect our transactions from fraud or error.
Commencing from January 2026, every supplier conducting business with SunOpta will be asked to provide their company information through the Eftsure portal before any payments can be processed.
Guidance for New Suppliers
When you start working with us, your SunOpta contact will send you an email invitation from Eftsure to begin the registration process.
You will be asked to provide the following information:
- Company name
- EIN
- W-9, W-8, and GST/HST
- Address
- Bank account details
Once you have registered, you may receive a call from an Eftsure team member (usually within 24-48 hours) to confirm your details. You will then receive a confirmation email from Eftsure once your data is verified.
Guidance for Existing Suppliers
If you are an existing supplier, you can update your details at any time. Simply reach out to your SunOpta contact and request an ‘Eftsure change request’.
You will receive an email with a link to update your details, and a confirmation email once everything is verified. For certain updates, you might receive a follow-up call from Eftsure to ensure everything is accurate.
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure your details are up to date. Kindly notify us promptly if anything changes or if you notice discrepancies.
